Yes: In humans, length of menstrual cycle  varies from 25-35 days, with 28 days, being considered an average length. Average length of regular menstruation is 3-5 days, but even 5-7 days is considered normal. So, normal periods could start 4 days earlier. Interval between ovulation and start of Progesterone withdrawal is usually 14 days. Progesterone withdrawal leads to periods.Thanks.

See a Gyn Dr: Irregular periods can indicate that something is going on with either your hormone levels or your Uterus. In either condition, a full exam by a Gynecological Dr would be wise. Blood tests of hormone levels, a pelvic exam and potentially a uterus ultrasound can determine if there is anything that requires treatment.

Missing Periods: Missing periods are a common situation, especially in the young. After pregnancy these can be caused by extremes: stress, extreme dieting, extreme exercise, obesity, herbs and hormones, poor nutrition.  If the irregularity does not normalize you may want to discuss this with your gynecologist.

Unlikely, but...: It can be hard to tell if a woman is pregnant because some of the symptoms seen in early pregnancy can also happen in non-pregnant women. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result if done correctly. One can test about 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. An Ob-Gyn doctor can evaluate any persistent or worrisome symptoms.

New or always?: Every woman is different and some might experience shorter periods, however, what you describe are quite short.  I wonder if this is a new issue for you or have they been this way since the beginning.  I also wonder about your thyroid hormone levels.  Sometimes people with hyperthyroidism can have more frequent periods. Consider visiting the face-to-face or the virtualdoctor if this is a new issue

after taking morning pill on 13th, my gf had bleeding on 20th. it was brown and glossy and less flow. is it implantation bleeding or early periods?

Morning after pill: It could be either one actually.  Probably should check a urine pregnancy test in about a week to be sure and its also probably time to see your physician about getting on regular birth control.
