Yes: In humans, length of menstrual cycle varies from 25-35 days, with 28 days, being considered an average length. Average length of regular menstruation is 3-5 days, but even 5-7 days is considered normal. So, normal periods could start 4 days earlier. Interval between ovulation and start of Progesterone withdrawal is usually 14 days. Progesterone withdrawal leads to periods.Thanks.
