is it possible for a nonmedicated saline nasal spray to get stuck in the nasal cavity and cause of ear infection in a five-year-old?

Ear infection causes: Ear infections are caused by bacteria or viruses. Noses are full of bacteria anyway. Saline rinses away a few bacteria; if the bottle is dirty, saline may add a few bacteria to the nose, but they won't often travel to the ear because the Eustachian tube is a tiny passage, esp in children. Droplets of water sprayed in nose are only in the nose a few minutes. Squeeze bottle irrigation CAN hurt ears.

i feel like i have mites in ears and nasal cavity, itchiness in nose during day, but actually awakened by movement in nose/ears at night, clicking sounds, tinnitus, eye floaters, nothing helps. what do i do?

: "Mites" or other parasites do not do anything like this and are not a likely cause of your symptoms. Discuss with your doctor if the symptoms continue or you remain concerned. Good luck.

Anatomical question: The maxilla is the upper jaw and it projects superiorly into the major bone of the face at the side of the nose.  I am not sure what you mean by its role but it is the source of the upper teeth and it covers the largest sinus of the face, the maxillary sinus.  The maxilla is lateral to the nasal bones but the nasal septal cartilage is located in a ridge of the maxillary bone.  I hope this helps.

Deep in nose: Naegleria fowleri is a free living amoeba that is present in freshwater bodies. People swimming in such water are at risk (a very low risk) of having the organism penetrate the cribiform plate (a very thin bone in the very back of the nose thru which olfactory nerves (nerves for smell) penetrate). Very rarely Naegleria are forced thru this plate producing an almost uniformly fatal meningitis.

: In general, HPV testing is not recommended at all except in connection with a Pap smear. Nobody needs to alter their sexual life, contacts, etc because of HPV without symptoms -- and half of all people your age test positive at any point in time. Assume all partners are infected and that you are too. Mostly harmless. Get vaccinated to prevent the 9 HPV types that cause most health problems.

Is something stuck: Sounds like you should see ENT doctor to R/O anything serious. He can see if something is stuck, if pus is coming out an orafice. He should be able to make diagnosis.
