Saline wash: Use a saline nasal wash twice a day and an anti-histaminic--zyrtec or claritin.
The sinus wash --made by neil will help a lot.

Not necessarily: The rhythmic thumbing sound one hears in their ear, if it corresponds with the heart rate, is the ear drum hearing the heart beat from the tympanic artery.  This does not necessarily indicate high blood pressure and should not be used as a measure of blood pressure.  Better is a blood pressure cuff device, especially if done by your doctor's office.

Take action...: How high? Are you taking medications for blood pressure? May ne medications are not enogh. Either you increase the dose or add another one. Do you have chest pain, palpitations, shortness of breath at rest or on exertion?.....Back to your doctor asap.

Tinnitus and BP: Tinnitus, or ringing in your ears, can indeed be made more noticeable by high blood pressure.  Also, some of the diuretics, like lasix, (furosemide) which are occasionally prescribed for hypertension may cause or worsen tinnitus.  This effect usually subsides when the medication is stopped.

No: First make sure your blood pressure is well controlled and not having wild fluctuations. Then see ENT dr re the ringing called tinnitus. Ginko can cause BP to go up. The only natrual remedy i know for tinnitus is lipoflavinoids.

She : She needs to be examined immediately by a doctor if she is having ringing in her ears, dizziness, diaphoresis (sweating), and almost passing out and has a history of high blood pressure.  She needs to be examined immediately as she is pregnant.  She should not drive herself.  Please have her evaluated immediately by a doctor.
