Tinnitus : The symptoms you have are called tinnitus . Most of the time it is subjective.I.E no other person can hear that sound. Some times doctor may hear a sound with stethoscope  on head or ear. This is called objective tinnitus . For subjective sound no effective treatment is available . For objective sound there is possibility of successible treatment

can a blood patch cause clogged ears and light headedness?

Not usually: But a post dural puncture headache can cause those symptoms. If they don't improve after the blood patch, notify your anesthesiologist.

Unknown: But some people with high blood pressure experience symptoms like what you describe, including headaches, a full feeling in the head, and throbbing or full sensation of the ears. This might mean that your blood pressure needs better control!

Viral syndrome: Sounds like a viral syndrome. Mycoplasma infections can also do this. Do you have fever or cough? A checkup might be in order. If you normally don't have high blood pressure, i wouldn't be concerned as this may be a reaction to your not feeling well right now.

These symptoms could: be from wax buildup in the ear canal or from fluid buildup inside the ear behind the drum. Either way, you should be evaluated by a health care provider (preferably an ENT) to avoid potentially serious problems in the future.

Possible Infection: You could be dealing with a possible infection of a tooth or your sinuses.  Please see a physician or a dentist asap to have a proper diagnoses and treatment.

Water in ear canals?: If you had used an irrigating device, this may be from the water left behind. Try putting a drop of rubbing alcohol into the ear canal to see if this helps.  If not, see doctor.

after i cleaned my ears out at home (hydrogen peroxide & water w/ a syringe) my left ear feels clogged. i tried the method where you plug your nose and blow/yawning/swallowing. my ear isnt hurting just feels clogged. should i try the syringe again?

: You can keep flushing the ear canal with warm water and peroxide.  Pieces of wax may float out.  After 2-4 cups of solution, try a warm shower and lie down.  Even after the plug is out, you may have the sensation for awhile.  if you have fever, pain, difficulty swallowing, please see your doctor and look for infection.

my ear clogged up-progressed into an infection with some blood.  dr. put me on amoxicillin, unable to see if theres a puncture since infection is covering eardrum. ear is draining- im wondering if i should clean it out. if so, how and with what?

No: Never put anything smaller than your elbow into your ear. Give the antibiotic time to work. Follow our Physician's orders to the letter.

No: I suspect that some fluid is left behind in the ear canal. Put a drop of rubbing alcohol (or Swim Ear)  in the ear and see if this helps.
