Irritate: The what of the blow dryer could have an irritating effect on the skin around the eyes both from the heat and hot air. If this is concern be careful how you use blow dryer, facing it away from the face. If there symptoms that do not respond to conservative compresses and eye drops you should see eye doctor for reassurance.

See an ENT: get the condition treated. You should not have to suffer this much. If it is interfering with your vision and causing such pain, anyone would be depressed.

Worried: You husband may be in extremis. I would get him to the hospital as quickly as possible for help.

: Spasm.  Muscles may still twitch for awhile after death for a bit as blood flow stops and they twitch as they die as well. Go to Wikipeida and read about muscle contraction and how it happens.

: No,no. Your mom needs you in her last moments. Even if you can’t do much, she is able to feel your love and presence. That’s all what she wishes to have right now. 
Hold her hand, touch her head and tell her that you are there with her and you love her. 
Her love will fill your life for the years to come. 
When she passes, go ahead and cry but find support in a bereavement group (church, doctor)

Probably nothing: Unless you have a chemical burn or reaction to the dye, this should be ok.This is done regularly.

No, you will fine: It's important to rinse your eye.   As long you do not have redness, green pussy discharge you are fine.  Just put some artificial tears drop.  You can wash it with cold water.

You can't: There isn't medication to make your eyes look whiter although eye drops temporarily shrink blood vessels in the white part of your eye & make them look whiter. However, your symptoms will worsen if you use the drops on a regular basis. Certain cosmetics can also improve the appearance of your sclera, or the white part of your eye. If the eye is painful, yellow, or draining, see a doctor.
