Muscular: Inflammation or strain of the mastoid portion of the sternocleidomastoid muscle due to posture, position while watching tv, strain.
Also, it is possible to be arthritis at the first cervical vertebra.

Could be nothing...: ...but it also could be a symptom of somrthing to be concerned about. Exactly what is not apparent from your post - there are several possibilities - but you are justified in getting a medical opinion about it. See your doctor to rule out or rule in anything to worry about. Sooner rather than later.

Many Possibilities: There are a large number of possibilities.  If it isn't growing and doesn't seem tender or painful, then it likely is not an aggressive problem.  However, you should talk to your primary doctor about getting imaging or going to see a Neurosurgeon

Ans: Sounds like you strained your neck. Do you work?  What kind of work do you do?  Start with heat over the neck and passive neck exercises if discomfort continues see your doctor

Sinus congestion: The pain at the base of your skull is referred pain and the pain behind your eyes is from sinus congestion which results from nasal congestion. You need to treat your nasal symptoms with a nasal spray, oral antihistamines may help only when coupled with a decongestant. If otc meds don't help, it is time to see an allergist.

hi, is it normal for my adult skull to get more bumps and indentations? i also notice when i apply pressure to an area of my skull i feel a dull pain.

See your physician: While the skull surface isn't perfectly smooth, it doesn't usually change in adults.  See your physician.  He can examine you and order an Xray to ascertain if a problem is present
