ive had sharp pain in my right upper outer thigh for a week and dull pain above right breast when i breathe in. what could this be? negative for clot.

The pain in: your right tigh could be due to due to minor injury or inflammation to tissues in your upper, outer thigh area.(Greater Trochanteric Pain Syndrome) or compression of the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve (meralgia paresthetica). Pain in your chest above breast could be due to a costochondritis or inercostal neuritis or pleuresy. See your doctor. In the mean time take Ibuprofen for pain.

Hmm. I'm not sure.: The area above your breast and below your collarbone has muscles, blood vessels, lymph nodes and breast tissue. Your lupus puts you at risk for blood clots, so that's one thought. You have bronchitis, and if you're coughing you could have muscle pain/spasm of your pectoral muscles. Inflammation of lymph nodes in that area is also a possibility.  Make sure the ultrasound checked for a blood clot.

Get examined: Could just be muscular or rib pain. Feel for breast lumps. See your dr for an ekg. Give us a feedback on the final dx.

Merits evaluation.: The congestion described could be due to infection, mild heart failure (often a complication of uncontrolled hypertension or of a heart valve problem), pulmonary emboli (blood clots in the lung), or something else. That complaint plus the chest pain merit an immediate visit to your doctor or to an emergency dept at your nearest hospital.

Multiple possibiliti: How long has it been ere. Any injuries. Could be gallbladder, stomach, blood clot in lung, chest wall pain. Heart disease. See your doctor.

Breast pain: Could very well represent costochondritis. Take some NSAIDs and see if it helps.

Likely chest wall: This sounds like costochondritis. Be examined to make sure you are otherwise fine. Other diagnoses to consider are reflux and if you are a smoker lung problems. All the best and I hope you feel better soon.

Watch the bra: Rib pain in female under the breast are common it can be caused by inflammation to the cartilage part of the rib caused by pressure or trauma or bruises
most have been blamed on the metal hard wire of the bra 
use heat and Ibuprofen if persist see your physician.
