Not likely.: Most dull aches in the testicle are just that. Most serious pathology in the testicle becomes progressively uncomfortable. You will know it when you have it.

Epididymitis?: Sounds like you have epididymitis. This can be due to a variety of causes, but sexually transmitted disease is high on the list in a young male. Should get this evaluated to make sure you do not have chlamydia or gonorrhea.

: Have you ever had epididymitis or trauma in that testicle? If so occasional discomfort may occur. However, I recommend consulting a physician or urologist for a testicular examination. An ultrasound may be ordered as part of the evaluation

: The ache is more or less normal. Sexual excitation increase the blood flow to the testicles and this engorgement can result in a dull ache.

Acute of chronic?: Acute- could be bruising or trauma.  If of longer duration (several weeks) most likely epididymitis. Testicular torsion and varicocele would not be likely.  See your doctor. I suspect low grade infection!

: It is never normal for a testicle to hurt.  But the kick likely playing a role. Make certain you have no masses in Testicle.
