Cough: It could be lingering cough from previous infection. It may be asthma, reflux or postnasal discharge causing cough. It could be some more pressing/significant to evaluate further if you have a h/o smoking.

Yes. : Yes. Immunity wanes after a few years so you need a booster every 8-10 years.
You may just have a viral bronchitis but if cough persists you should see your doctor for an evaluation. You should also get a pertussis booster ( tdap).

See doctor...: Possibilities include bronchospasm from any cause, gerd, post-nasal drip or even a combination of factors. Once the etiology of your cough is identified, it can be treated since each of these has a different treatment. So, see your doctor asap.

Probably not....: With pneumonia, an infection of the lung parenchyma, there is usually discolored sputum that is coughed up consistently and there may even be some blood. Typically, there is a fever with pneumonia as well. If your symptoms persist, see your doctor since it is possible to have pneumonia with less severe symptoms but it is atypical. A chest x-ray can diagnose pneumonia if there is any doubt.

Dry cough: I believe you have a viral upper respiratory tract infection with a hacking,nonproductive cough and throat dryness. I recommend your taking a soothing cough suppressant like robitussinDM. Antibiotics don't seem to be indicated at this time. See your physician if you develop fever,chills,sweats, copious discolored sputum, wheezing, shortness of breath or sharp chest pain with a deep breath.

Probably not: If by lung collapse you mean a pneumothorax, or air around the lung in the chest cavity, that is usually due to a genetic predisposition, smoking, trauma or sometimes vigorous exercise, to name a few. Another type of lung collapse involves thick mucus that blocks air entry to the rest of the lung, but that only happens in very debilitated patients with advanced lung disease.
