how to treat dry, flaky skin on breasts?

Dry flaky breasts: Breast skin is constantly being irritated by tight supportive clothing, bras, etc. Skin reacts by production of more keratinized tissue.  Eucerin ointment or similar creams applied nightly will over some time lubricate and make the "flakiness" disappear.

Could be: You could try applying some lotion and see if this helps the area. If not then dry skin is not the cause.

Rash: You would have to see your local physician for them to make a diagnosis. But yes, a fungal infection is a possibility, and it tends to grow in areas of the body where there is moisture. But without a thorough history and examination from your physician, I would be leery of making a self diagnosis

Treating the: dry flaky skin with a moisturizer , even a good one, such as EPIMAX does not address the CAUSE of the dry skin. The location suggests to me that you might have a superficial FUNGUS infection or a eczema like condition. Further evaluation is suggested!

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. However, it may just be dry skin. You may try using an emollient like Vaseline. If that does not relieve the symptoms it would be prudent to see your doctor.
Have a healthy diet, exercise, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.

It may be true: Something may be poking you in the form of a non dissolved suture. Call your surgeon and have him/her recheck the surgical site.
