using Vasoline and cover areas with Saran wrap and cover with socks for a few hours or overnight

Evaluation: Sounds like you have a fungal infection. Would be good idea to be evaluated as there is medication available for all of these conditions. A physician may also need to perform a biopsy or culture as well.

Itchyosis vulgaris: It sound like ithcyosis vulgaris you need to hydrate the skin. A lotion or crème called Eucerin may help or Lachydrin lotion may help. if not see a podiatrist
