Quite Possibly Sinus: U seem to be dehydrated, never good during infection. Do U have headache, or tender over forehead.  Green Mucous does imply a sinus infection that needs anti-biotics.  U should see UR doctor right away &amp; be treated If U have no MD, go to internist or ENT MD ASAP.

Pressure on Location: The bleeding is typically from capillaries in an area called kiesselbach’s area, just past the body near the nares. Look it up on google images. Sitting, keeping you head up, working to calm/relax, & sustained pressure on the area (pinching nose, side to side) for long enough without moving/letting up to check (usually ~5 minutes, timed, long enough) will typically stop the oozing.

Pressure....where?: We were told growing up to pinch it and lean back to stop a bloody nose, but, most bleeds occur in the front 1/3 of the nose.  This is particularly true for bleeds due to dry air or sneezing.  The front part of the nose gets blood flow from two vessels in the top lip.  Slipping some rolled guaze between the gum and upper lip and pushing on the lip while leaning forward stops these bleeds fast!

Pressure : Bow your head and pinch the soft part of your nostrils for at least 10 minutes. If bleeding continues to be runny and flowing, then blow your nose to clear the blood and clots out, and apply 2 sprays of afrin (oxymetazoline) to each side of the nose and re apply pressure for another 10 minutes. Assuming your blood pressure is not too high, and you are not taking a blood thinner, this should stop the bleeding, .

Nosebleeds can be due to many things that cause one of the little veins on the inside of the nose (usually the middle septum) to crack and leak temporarily. Heavy breathing in sports, hot or cold air, allergies, nose-picking, colds, flu, dry air, etc..., are some 
causes of nosebleed.

See doctor: The two may not be related.  I think nosebleeds this time of year are caused by irritation of the nose from allergy.  Sinus infection could cause both symptoms.  If not releived by acetominophen and pinching your nose, i'd go see an ent, where a good nasal exam can be done.

Possibly  high bp: Poorly controlled blood pressure can cause both. See you doctor you need a full history and phsysical. Blood and a ct of head with contrast.

Check platelets, NOW: I am not an oncologist but my wife has beat 2 cancers: gbm (brain) and AML (leukemia) and had a stem-cell transplant: she  is still going!.  A bloody nose could be 'just a bloody nose' due to trauma, 'dry air' etc... But a very low platelet count can be the cause and this needs to be checked very soon. You may need a 'round' of platelet transfusions to restore platelet count to a more safe level.
