Red, itchy penis: Red, itchy penis can be caused by several factors.  It could be a reaction to something that the skin has had contact with - like a new soap or detergent or spermicide.  It could be a sign of either a viral infection - like herpes - or a bacterial or fungal infection.  A person who has this problem should go to their primary care doctor or urgent care for evaluation.

Fungus?: May be an early fungal infection vs early wart appearance. Can either try topical antifungal (like lotrimin (clotrimazole) / micatin) for few days and see if improves, or see your dr / urgent care / "std clinic" dr for exam, diagnosis and treatment. Good luck.

Penile itching: You may have had a superficial skin irritation  causing the itching, dryness and now peeling.   Unless there are any lesions -  a very mild OTC cortisone cream should help.   If there are any sores or lesions you need to be examined.

..Hypersensitivity..: Could be hypersensitivity to cream/ lubricant/condom. One should talk it over with their PCP/urologist and have a physical evaluation by him/her.

Dermatologist: This is an unusual place to develop dry,rough, and itchy skin. If you use condoms you could have a skin reaction to them. Also if you have intercourse with a partner who uses spermicide cream, it's a possible cause. It doesn't appear to be a sexually transmitted disease, but a dermatologist would be helpful  in evaluating and advising you.

: Since yeast infection &amp; STDs shouldn't be a consideration in your case, I'd recommend trying a corticosteroid ointment that your pharmacist can recommend. Avoid very tight jeans. Wear white cotton underwear. If no improvement, consult a urologist or a dermatologist for evaluation &amp; advice.

Many possibilities: There many causes of genital area skin rash -- too many possibilities to even guess based on this information. The large majority of genital rashes are not STDs and most are not serious or dangerous health problems. See your doctor if it continues of if you remain concerned.

See below: May be fungal infection (like jock itch that has extended to penis) or might be psoriasis. Can try otc antifungal cream (lamisil) on affected areas; keep area clean & dry (talcum powder or antifungal spray [cruex/tinactin/desenex..] & wash underwear, towels, bedding in hot water (w/ bleach if possible). May take 2-3 weeks to clear. See pcp to get his/her diagnosis & treatment options.

issue with my penis, just a couple of days i started getting like eraser-like stuff coming off of it. a little itchy and then i washed down there as normal and then the next day, the foreskin becomes dry. :/ not sure if it's an infection or what?
