Yes: if you have THC in your urine, it will most certainly be in your blood, which if in 10 minutes in your urine test will lead to a falsely elevated level of THC.

Probably: If there are drugs in the blood, they would probably also be found in the urine also, if the urine was tested.  If the blood contaminated the urine, the drugs may be there, but this may not be needed.

If the drugs are "protein-bound", they may only be found in the blood at times.

Some drugs are best tested for in the urine, some in the blood.

i have a urine drug test tomorrow and i have took a midol today for my menstrual cramping.  will it cause me to have a false-negative?

Should be fine: There is nothing in midol that should cause your drug screen to be positive or have a false negative.

I have not: Heard of any contraindication to drug screening urinalysis while menstruating.

Usually: Menstrual blood will not interfere with the sensitivity of the test. You may want to inform those supervising the test, but be willing to test anyway or it may be looked on as an effort to delay until something clears your system.

See a reproductive endocrinologist for tests and treatment to help you get pregnant.

Not pregnant, but...: In a woman with regular periods, some causes of a late period include: excessive weight loss or weight gain, increased exercising, emotional stress, having an illness, traveling, medicines (like birth control pills), hormonal imbalances, etc…  seeing a doctor is a good idea if symptoms are persistent, recurring, or worrisome. (pregnancy is a common cause of a missed period, if sexually active.).

You can : It sounds like your menstrual cycle just came a few days early this month. This is very common. Typically we suspect pregnancy when someone misses their period. Not when it comes early. If you're concerned though you can always retest at home
