i am on clomid (clomiphene) the last two cycles . i ovulated  had sex. now my period is late but no symtoms .few days ago i wiped brownish blood but no period came?

Preg test: Hopefully the Clomid (clomiphene) worked. Have you checked a home pregnancy test? If it is positive then congratulations. If it is negative then it may indicate that Clomid (clomiphene) did not trigger ovulation. Discuss with your doctor using a Progesterone test with Clomid (clomiphene) to confirm ovulation

Mid-cycle spotting?: May be a sign that something isn’t quite right, which may warrant a call or a visit with your gynecologist. Could be associated with any of the following: cervical disorders, implantation (getting pregnant), hormonal products/meds, trauma associated with intercourse, iud, ovulation or lack of it, ovarian cyst and the list goes on. I hope you can see why it&#x27;s important to speak with your gyn.

Sexually active?: If you are sexually active and missed periods for 2 months , and have negative pregnancy tests and odorous brownish discharge occurs it could be few things. Endometritis- infection of lining of uterus, missed abortion in uterus/fallopian tubes, delayed periods . Consult your pcp/gynaecologist as you are young and need to rule out any uterine infection ascending up and cause tube infection/damage.

Hormone evaluation : Even though early menopause is a possibility , i recommend complete hormonal state evaluation, estrogen, progesterone, lh, fsh, thyoids etc, and get a pelvic sonogram and exam.

How do you know?: I am trying to determine how someone would know you have blood in your cervix without doing a speculum exam. The cervix is the opening of the uterus so blood coming out of there is coming from the uterus. Exceptions would be a cervical polyp, cervical fibroid or a cervical infection such as chlamydia.
