Evaluation: You may not be drinking enough for your body is one possible reason.  You can also go to your doctor to be evaluated for other possible reasons.

left arm numb/tingling/some pain. very gassy. saw dr. friday. had an ekg. dr. said i was dehydrated. been drinking lots of water. still have symptoms.

Go back to your: doctor and/or the ER. You may need some lab work and you should have a follow-up exam if your symptoms are continuing.

Check up time: Having increased thirst and increased urination could be related to hormonal issues, kidney issues, diabetes to name a few. Only a complete history, exam with testing will give you the diagnosis. I would suggest seeing your doctor for more answers. Good luck.

What condition?: If you are suffering extreme thirst, definitely check your blood sugar to rule out diabetes. A visit to your physician is in order.  We certainly need more details about your past history of syncope to give more advice here.  But in general, a low blood pressure and history of syncope would not cause extreme thirst!

Activity?: So you may be doing a bunch of activities that are dehydrating, and you need the additional water.  Or you may not have enough electrolytes - start drinking 1/4 of your fluids as gatoraid, poweraid, etc.
Sometimes this can herald an illness, such as diabetes.  It would be best to discuss this with your doctor, who may order some tests to rule out certain illnesses.  Good luck!

Why ?: Pedialyte is designed to meet the hydration needs of infants. Adults can get the same benefit from other less expensive products like Gatorade when diluted with water, or just normal fluids as part of balanced nutrition. Nausea can reflect many issues, some simple &amp; some deadly.A doctor visit for a good workup would be smarter than self diagnosis &amp; treatment.

my dr told me im dehydrated and need gatorade vs water.i already drink lots of water. i don't like all the sugar.how do i rehydrate without the sugar?

Need more info: Everything depends on what you mean by "lots of water". Did the doctor do nay blood tests? Normal water intake daily should be about 70 ounces of water daily unless you like in a very warm climate where you may need more water intake.If your water intake meets those requirements then please consult with a nephrologist, a doctor who deals with the chemistry of the kidney.
