Unclear question: Where is the tumor? Is it in the pituitary? What symptoms do your have, if any? You may see an endocrinologist for a second opinion.

A number of things: The possibilities include a cutanueous skin tag (acrochordon), benign lipoma, cyst, infection, inflammation, and malignancy- either primary from the neck (ie thyroid, lymphoma) or metastatic from another location. Mobile soft are usually terms that correspond to a benign condition - skin tag, cyst, lipoma. Duration of mass, change in size, color are also important. Best to visit ENT if concerned.

if tumor markers are elevated does it mean tamoxifen isn't working?  dr. wants to recheck in two weeks.  what is next? had recon surgery in december.

Check again: Not sure what &quot;recon surgery&quot; means but please do not take an elevated tumor marker as a certainty for cancer. You did not say how much it went up but remember there can be lab errors and even if it&#x27;s a true elevation, it may not have any meaning. A tumor marker can go up for other reasons. I see nothing wrong with repeating one in a short interval.  Hope it all goes well.

Nasal NFB: Nasal neurofibromas are exceeding rare tumors in the nasal cavity. The world's literature does not contain too many long term case reports, but the few that have been studied have reasonably good outcomes. Abt therapy has been touted by some to be effective, when conventional therapy is ineffective, as capable of slowing the growth of fibromatous tissues   you need to follow up for your new sx.

dr southard, i am steroid dependent due to cushings, then three surgeries to remove tumor. i have never been this heavy. i am having trouble losing we?

Complicated situatio: While of course I'm only privy to the limited information provided I wouldn't be surprised if your steroid use is creating difficulties weight loss wise.  It can increase your appetite(thus your caloric intake),  make you retain fluid, and redistribute fat to the face, neck and abdomen. Also chronic ailments often lead to diminished physical activity which serves to further compound weight gain.

what is the difference in a mass and a tumor on the bladder my dr said it was a mass on my bladder and not a tumor?

It is tumor: All visceral masses are tumors.  The question whether it arose in the bladder and extended to surface is important. Any bladder lesion invading thru muscular wall is already advanced and dangerous.  Adjacent organs like colon spreading to bladder is also in need of treatment.  Any mass benign or malignant in peritorneal cavity must be resected.

my prolactin level is 35 is this something to worry about ? my dr told me i could possibly have a benign pituitary tumor which worries me

By exam: Symptoms of a brain tumor include new onset focal seizure, worsening headache and the presence of focal weakness. This is how the doctor could suspect that there is a tumor in the brain.
