i started to use doxycycline 100mg for an eye infection last week. now i'm having a burning sensation while urination. any home remedies or something?

Must be examined: Doxycycline will nit usually cover a UTI. You need a urineanalysis and bacterial culture.
Some simple guidelines before being seen:
Force fluids: 8-10 glasses of electrolyte water drinks (Powerade, G, Vitamin Water).
Avoid all citrus fruits/drinks: orange, grapefruit, lemon, lime, tomatoes, etc.
Abstain sexually for 5-7 days while on medication.
No tight underwear, thongs, tight jeans or swimsuits

im having yeast infections right now, its been ongoing for 5mths. im seeing a new dr end of month to resolve this. however i just had eye infection, need to take doxycycline for 2wks. what can i do to prevent yeast infection from worsening?

: You must have asked over 20 questions on this forum about your yeast problems. As you've been told, a distant forum like this cannot help as well as your own doctor(s). With your possibly resistant yeast, it's even less possible to suggest a good answer. The doctor who prescribing doxycycline and/or the one treating your yeast are the best sources for this advice. Maybe once weekly anti-yeast Rx.

Need to see Eye MD: If you have had four documented and culture positive pseudomonas infections of one or both eyes, i will recommend you see an opthalmologist
it is possible you have chronic conjunctivitis or recurring infection due to some underlying vcondition in your eye.So make an appt. With eye specialistmd.
