from a medical point of view.
The recovery for a hip replacement takes
several months to decrease pain, increase
motion, increase strength and gradually
normalize your gait.
After this procedure, one can improve for
6-12 months afterward
i would suggest doing only one side at a time due to the extensive surgery and
recovery.

Possibly: Double jointed hips usually means that one has loose ligaments/capsule of the joints.  Loose joints in general if there is excessive motion at that joint over time can lead to cartilage damage and in severe cases dislocation.  If one maintains adequate stability in the joint by keeping the muscle strong that may be enough to keep the joint from incurring damage.

: Yes, those clinical events are more than enough to wear you down and it takes time for a 75 year-old patient to recover. You should concentrate on the physical therapy until you are full ambulatory. The latest infection of omicron variant is less likely causing long covid syndrome.

Lose weight: Depends on a lot of factors.  Weight loss is helpful. Avoid excess pounding (running, tennis, etc)  don't get older! <grin>.

Not common: But it is not unusual.  Typically people who are hypermobile such as yourself can do some interesting tricks with their joints, such as bend their elbows backwards 20 degrees. Touch their shoulder blades together, bend the tip of their thumb to touch their forearm and other things.   It is not a sign of anything pathologic.  I wouldn't necessarily recommend subluxating your hips though.

Dark/irreg/mole: Ask to have a punch biopsy done with pathology diagnosis for peace of mind.. Or see a term or plastic to do.

What did you do 2: days ago.  I often find that an activity two days before your ache can be the explaination of why you have an unusal pain.  If there was just some minor muscular-skeletal sprain or strain, it should get better in 2-3 days.
