No: Dopamine is not related to saliva production, however many of the medications used to alter dopamine levels cross-react with acetylcholine receptors, which causes a decrease in salivation, as well as constipation, dry eyes, and tiredness.

Depends on diagnosis: Dopamine is often given to patients who have low Dopamine in their brain, and who may have parkinson's disease. It depends where your brother is on the spectrum of the diagnosis that his neurologist or physician has determined. The effects of taking the Dopamine should occur fairly soon. So if he is benefiting from it, you should already see this by now. If not, have him consult with his neurologist to find out what prognosis is.

Many are: Many medications for treating ADHD work by increasing dopamine and stimulating focus. These medications are typically stimulants. They include amphetamines such as Adderall and methylphenidate (Concerta, Ritalin). But there is also a side effect of possible addiction and abuse.

Not needed: There is no disease entity related to generalized dopamine deficiency., hence no need for a test for it.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Dopamine reuptake: Given how the receptors work, a Dopamine re-uptake deficiency would lead to a relative Dopamine excess in the synapse.  If the pre-synaptic neuron doesn't remove Dopamine from the synapse, it would remain there to stimulate (maybe over-stimulate) the post-synaptic neuron.  Dopamine isn't the only neurotransmitter in psychosis, though.

No studies: There are no studies that i know of which document serotonin or Dopamine levels during homeopathic treatment.  The 2 paradigms of health and illness are very different.  Other issue is that no one has proven that neurochemical imbalance directly causes depression, either.  It would be an interesting study, but you'd need many well trained homeopaths, & patients willing to have lp's with treatment.

Those are not known to be effective treatments of serotonin syndrome. Prevention of serotonin syndrome is unstudied in medical literature so it is impossible to say whether taking those supplements will help. However, I would say that I'm very skeptical that this will help. Please be careful
