They are not in air: While hepa filters work best for airbore particals that trigger allergies and asthma, dust mites hang out on surfaces and inside matress, boxspring, pillows, rugs and upolstered furniture.  Allergy proof encasings are the best for bedding and removal of rugs in the bedroom.

Abrasion: An abrasion type injury is treated by cleaning it with warm water and soap, patting dry and then applying an antibacterial ointment like bacitracin. If there is persistent bleeding or spreading redness,get examined and treated in the hospital emergency room. A tetanus booster may be given depending upon when your last tetanus booster was given.

HEPA filter: I'm not sure of your question.  A HEPA filter is used to trap small allergens.  So the best place to put the filter would be to place it on the air return vents of your heating/cooling system. If you are asking about floor vs table, place on table. If you're asking about elevation above sea level, then all houses could benefit if the homeowners have allergy symptoms. Hope this helps.

NEVER: If you have allergies or asthma use a hepa not an ionic filter.  Ionic filters can put ozone in the air that can make someone with allergies or asthma worse !

NO: Hepa filters are best for allergies/ asthma.  Bigger models may filter more air and others may  have additional filters to give better results but always make sure it's a hepa.
