Dead tissue: Tumors that are bleeding and infected may be so large that they have outgrown their blood supply, and are partially necrotic (dead), and that portion of the tumor is essentially food for bacteria. Obviously, there are many other scenarios, so hard to tell if this is answers your question, but i hope it helps.

Fibroid: Fibroid or myoma is a benign tumor of the smooth muscle of the womb. So, if you dissect it and see it under mcorscope you would see smooth muscle, some connective tissue and small blood vessels. 
It is not an infection, it is not an abscess and it is not a waste...

Tumor?: There is not enough information to diagnose a tumor. How do you know it is a tumor? How long has it been there? Is it hard or soft? Has the jaw enlarged and have the teeth moved? Where is it located in the mouth: front or back, cheek side or tongue side? Please see your dentist or pcp to get these questions answered for a diagnosis.

Xrays: Typically only see certain density like bone or calcification, 5 weeks may be to early to show in radiograph.

Probable UTI: A urinary tract infection (UTI) is the best bet. A tumor might cause RBC in the urine, but not clumps of white blood cells (pus cells). Contact your doctor for professional advice and probable antibiotic treatment.

See derm: most likely this is a folliculitis , not uncommon  in the inner upper thighs, esp in people that either shave that area or have large legs which tend to rub together together when moving. suggest see dermatologist for eval and tx. there are other clinical  entities as well, so seeing a derm would be the best thing for you.

my mris generate vastly different interpretations.  some see tumors, lesions, hyperintensities.  others see nothing.  lesions are diagnosed as everything imaginable. no objective standard?  what's up?

Medicine: Is definitely not an exact science and the interpretation of radiologic studies can be quite variable.  Discuss with your doctor so that the possibilities can be narrowed down depending on your history exam and other tests.
