: And inguinal hernia should not cause swelling in your feet or legs. Are you having any discomfort in those lower extremities? You should see your primary care doctor about the swelling and a general surgeon about the inguinal hernia. Good luck.

Muscle hernia: Treatment for tibialis anterior muscle herniation is controversial. Asymptomatic hernias require reassurance, but no specific treatment. Minimally symptomatic hernias may respond to conservative treatment with restriction of exercise and the use of an elastic support].  Traditional surgical options involve direct closure of the defect.

i have a high c-reactive protein level (25) after a laprascopic hernia surgery  i still have swelling could this be the cause for the high level?

Likely: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that,  Tissue damage and inflammation from any cause can raise CRP. You may wish to repeat it after you have healed properly , preferably after about 6 weeks.

Recurrent hernia?: This could be a recurrent hernia; it is unlikely to be a problem with your lymph glands.

Likely had hydrocele: Small hydroceles surrounding testes could have made you feel testes were larger than they were before. Ur now feeling true size of testes. Unlikely 2B testicular atrophy as they have only become slightly smaller ; presumably are both similar is size. So u can stop worrying.

i had open inguinal hernia surgery a few days ago, i noticed a lot of swelling at and around the incision, is this normal, what causes this, how long should it last and what could i do to reduce it.

Post Surgery issues: It is most likely just normal. But, if there is hot red and/or pustular drainage..Or if the pain is intolerable these should be reported to your surgeon.  Surgeons want to be on top of any post op complications that may arise. I would bet you were sent home with some instructions that would list the common problems and what to do about them.

does inguinal (groin) hernia causes testicular vein dilation or pain & swelling in testicular veins?

It could.: A large enough inguinal hernia can certainly cause testicular pain and can can cause scrotal swelling. I imagine it might also compress or push on the pampiniform veins and exacerbate a clinical varicocele. This complex of symptoms certainly merits medical evaluation.

can varicocele be caused as a result of an umbilical hernia. have a small, soft painless lump in belly button and pain/swelling of veins in testicles. ?
