Numerous disclaimers suggesting that the effects are different for different individuals. Since there is no way of knowing what is actually in the pills you are taking, side effects for you are unknown. If you really want to gain weight then spend your money on good food instead.

As far as breast tenderness and enlargement is concerned, that is also a common side effect of Depo-Provera provera. It is important to note that you should still have your yearly pap and breast exam, or be seen by your physician if you feel any abnormalities in your breasts.
