Unusual!: You may have been born without the glands & follicles that produce sweat and hair. If you sweat normally everywhere else, that's not a problem (actually a blessing!), but you need to check with a doctor to be sure that you don't have an underlying endocrine or sympathetic nervous system problem that somehow stopped hair & sweat glands from developing in that one area.

It might: Armpit hairs can slow down sweat evaporation and trap oils and smells.  But even if you shave closely, if you don't keep the armpit clean, you can have an odor.  Some people also need a deodorant or antiperspirant to keep odors down.  I personally think some odor is natural and that we tend to get overly concerned here in the usa.

Adult: The best temp is from oral temp in adult, unless you are looking for minute changes, then rectal temp is most accurate. This is used for basal body temp variations for ovulation.

The hair can: be a conduit for bacterial overgrowth  so if yu feel its necessary to shave  go ahead  but also good hygiene and what you eat contributes to odor  and of course use deodorant

Hygiene: With good daily hygiene, such as washing with soap and water and fully drying the area, hair removal is not necessary to reduce odor and sweating.
