Screening is needed: Environmental exposures are the most important risk factors in cervical cancer. The risk include-early onset sexual activity , multiple sexual partner-especially with high risk partner- known to have hpv, history of std,  immunocompromised etc. Now, the more risk factors the higher your risk is to have cervical cancer. Pap-smear is the key.

HPV/cervical cancer: Human papilloma virus (hpv) infects the cells of the cervical lining.  Depending on the subtype of hpv, this infection can interfere with cellular growth signals in a way that causes cells to grow abnormally (cervical dysplasia).  In rare cases, the cells develop the ability to invade the tissue under the cervical lining (cervical cancer).

Maybe not, but...: There are over 7 billion people on our planet, and many things are possible in life. HPV strain 70 is not in Gardasil-9 vaccine, so protection is only by being wise and lucky. Strain 70 is not currently listed as one of the cancerous strains, which means one should not spend her days worrying about it. All eligible persons should be vaccinated. : It took us decades of research to link cervical cancer to some strains of HPV. Pap smears were done for early detection several decades before the HPV link was known. We do know that some cases have no evidence of any prior HPV infection but the origin remains elusive.

Yes: Undiagnosed cervical cancer usually leads to death. And if the cervix is full of cancer likely there is no way to get pregnant or very difficult. But that is not the same as pre-cancer which is almost always what we talk about with papsmears. That is not related to fertility.

Talcum unlikely prob: Studies show that talcum powder, which is a silicate like asbestos, is not likely to cause ovarian cancer. Studies investigated the introduction of talc on talc dusted diaphragms and condoms and concluded that it was not likely the cause. Correlation, not causation. The USPST recommends women get their pap smear and genetic testing and because HPV is associated with cervical cancer. See OB/GYN.

It's possible: If you are having blood in your urine it is important to see your doctor as soon as you can to be evaluated.  It is possible for cervical cancer to cause bloody urine however this typically only happens in advanced cases where the cervical cancer is growing into the bladder.

Abnormal cells: Cervical cancer begins when healthy cells acquire a mutation which causes them to turn into abnormal cells. It isn't clear what causes cervical cancer, but there are risk factors which include HPV &amp; other sexually transmitted infections, early sexual activity, many sexual partners, a weak immune system, smoking, a diet low in fruit and vegetables, being overweight, IUD use, &amp; many pregnancies.
