Possibly so: Micronor (norethindrone) is a progestin only medicine and you are more likely to have acne with it vs. the other BCP.  Doesn't mean however that you will.  It might be worth a try.

i got a acne from my birth control pill, jolivette (norethindrone). what should i do?

Options: Norethindrone is an androgenic (testosterone like) progesterone, so changing to a less androgenic pill may help. Also, other medication options are available, best to consult either with your GYN or dermatology

im 24 and have had pcos for 2 years. i was told i had high testosterone. ive struggled with horrible acne as a result and my periods are irregular. i was recently prescribed the bc norethindrone, will this help lower my testosterone/ clear acne?

Yes, see answer: The contraceptive you are taking is a progestin only pill which could cause acne or flare up of acne, go back to your gynecologist and change it to a combined pill with estrogen and progesterone(it should help subside your acne).

i'm on primolut n (1x3) and stopped 3 days ago. no sign of period yet. any reason? can i still get pregnant if i'm on the pills? does it matter?

Common: Primolut n is a progestin only pill that is used for several indications including endometriosis and to decrease menstrual bleeding - it is also used to delay the menses.  It is not specifically a contraceptive and will not likely keep you from ovulating or conceiving. If you have irregular periods it may not be time - if your periods are usually regular, the do a pregnancy test to rule out that.

Yes: Micronor (norethindrone progestin -only medication) common sides effects include headaches, dizziness, nausea, breast tenderness. If headaches persist see your doctor for re-evaluation and possible use of a different medication.Some studies report increased headaches in users of  progestin-only oral contraceptives. Always remember to practice safe sex, . Use condoms. Take care.

Not directly: Norethindrone is a synthetic progesterone.  Many hormonal medications can cause hair follicles that are adjacent to each other to become synchronized in their growth and resting phases.  This can cause the appearance of rapid growth and apparent hair "shedding" in local areas.  The hormone does not cause cause hair loss per se.

No: Norethindrone is the Progesterone in many birth control pills, so this is an issue for many women who do not realize they are pregnant and continue their pills.  It will not cause a miscarriage but it might cause a small amount of bleeding shortly after it is discontinued.

Maybe: I would verify with the doctor that prescribed this medication that you are taking it at the time he or she wanted. I would not think that short term, mid cycle use of Progesterone would do much to regulate you. Confirm with the prescribing doctor that this is the plan.

will metformin, aldactone, (spironolactone) primolut n & duphaston affect hpv? in other words, cause cin (infections)? i'm taking meds for my pcos. gyno prescribed it

PCOS: I do not believe any of those medications will affect HPV or cause infections
