Let me explain: The flu symptoms caused by virus which a self limiting disease which it should disappear in  short period of time, also the flu usually comes with fever. So if subsided in few days and have elevated temperature, most likely the flu.

Not enough info: What meds are you talking about? If you truly have a drug induced lupus, stopping the med should eventually lead to resolution.

No: If  you  poke  any  tissue  it  would  be  more  irritated  ,  there  is  no  time  limit  when  l/nodes  would  go  away   ,  ithink  you  meant  swelling  of l/nodes  please  donot  pke.

Cortisone crea,s: For mild cases topical steroids can help. However if it is not totally responsive to topical steroids or there is potential for scarring oral plaque nil is used. An eye exam is required at baseline ad at 6 month intervals to check for loss of peripheral vision.

See below: Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome is characterized by headache, confusion, seizures, visual loss and M.R.I. showing characteristic lesions.  It is seen in lupus and treatment is treatment of lupus, treatment of coexisting hypertension, and treatment of kidney failure or eclapsia if it exists. You should be and probably are in the good hands of a Rheumatologist, Neurologist and others.

i have lupus sle and i keep getting the shingles ? this is the4th time ive had them ? why won't it go away?

SLE and Zoster: Most likely, your zoster eruptions associate with your anti- lupus meds - steroids, immune suppressants, etc. Zoster therapy should be prolonged for you.

Lupus: arthritis is generally not destructive. it goes away as the flare up goes away.
in some more severe cases some destruction may occur and that can cause ongoing pain

i have discoid lupus and am on day 2 of generic plaquenil, (hydroxychloroquine) only side effect is diarrhea. will it eventually go away with more time on med?

i have gotten 3 oral granulomas in 2 months. they go away and come back in a different place in my mouth. is it from nursing? or sores from lupus?

Oral sore /lupus: see previous answer. F/U with rheumatologist as if from lupus will only resolve with lupus treatment. Check herpes I titers,may be concomitant infection. Chck TSH maybe high and predispose to poor immune regulation. gargle with saltwater to avoid super- infection with bacteria,check for strep. Check it is lupus and not sarcoid/bechets
