: Neither. I consider counting glasses a waste of effort. You need to take in enough fluid value/day to pee every 6 hrs as a good reflection of normal hydration. Take in too much &amp; you waste time/day voiding. Many fleshy vegetables are 60% water and add significant fluid value. Normal hydration supports normal height.

is there a hair follicle test that can detect lsd use by my teen?  she tells me it can't be tested and switched from pot for that reason.  i am at a loss for what to do.  she was arrested for possession of pot and is on probation with random drug tests.

Depends on  bone age: The potential additional length anyone can expect depends on areas in the long bones (arms, legs, fingers)called growth plates. This is where growth occurs and an active open growth plate means more growth is possible. An xray of the hands & wrists can be evaluated for bone maturity since there are many to see. If your bone maturity is average for a 19 yo you are done growing taller.

You have been given the best way to predict whether you have more growth potential, the wrist/hand x-ray bone age. All the other things you have asked about are of little value. Get the study, or accept its results if you did.  Obsessing over this is a waste.
