Probably migraine: Migraines are the most common cause of frequent headaches, and they are often associated with nausea/vomiting.  Otc pain meds can contribute to rebound/medication overuse headache, which causes the headaches to actually worsen in the long run.  You should see a neurologist who can get you on a good preventative agent as well as a good acute agent (i.e. Triptan i.e. Imitrex) for the pain.

: One possibility is a sinus infection with blockage of mucus in some sinus cavities. Did you have a headcold.that preceded your current symptoms as.sinusitis often follows a heavy headcold that lingered. It could also explain your distorted smell&amp; taste. You may need treatment for sinusitis&amp; measures to get sinuses draining mucus. I recommend consulting an ENT specialist for evaluation&amp; advice.

Headaches: Headaches affecting sleep are not good. See your doctor. In the meanwhile maintain a headache diary to record when they occur, what triggers them and associated signs and symptoms and what relieves them . This will help.

There are many other causes to be ruled out before a accurate diagnosis can be made.  Best see a neurologist, preferable one who specializes in headache. There are very good medicines for migrane available.

Bad migraines?: Well bad migraines can cause those things but i would see a neurologist if your headaches are that bad!  one, it is important to rule out other causes and two, you could undergo migraine treatment if that's what it is. Good luck!
