Tea and hypertension: Teas can contain mixed herbals that can generate higher BP - avoid teas that aim to lose weight by burning calories; avoid licorice teas; minimize ginseng teas; and be careful that you do not get dehydrated from caffeine.

Senna: Senna sometimes used as a laxative, but when it is used on a chronic basis can cause a condition called melanosis coli. If constipation is an issue, it is better to increase the amount of fiber in the diet and even consider a fiber supplement. You should increase fluid intake if you increase fiber intake. This would be better than chronic senna usage. Good luck.

Don't think so: Umm, there aren't too many approved uses for Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) that I know of.   Is this really what you are taking?  I don't think it would interfere with the action of depo provera, (medroxyprogesterone) but it could certainly help contribute to a stroke.  Hibiscus tea will not interfere.

This : This should be fine, but with a few caveats. First. L-arginine is an unproven dietary supplement. It may be helpful, but there is no convincing evidence. And just because it is a natural supplement does not mean it is necessarily safe. If you haven't already, a more effective and natural way to help your blood pressure would be to cut out sodium and increase your intake of fresh foods. Your combination of drugs indicates to me that you have a substantial blood pressure problem. You should discuss these supplements with your physician and your pharmacist to be sure there are no interactions, and always let healthcare professionals know what supplements and over-the-counter medicines you are taking in addition to your prescriptions. Although uncommon, in some cases these ordinary supplements and otc meds can cause negative drug interactions with your important prescriptions.

Tea and HBP: Only way to tell in you is to take your BP every day for 1 week while doing your usual tea. Thens stop tea and take BP for next week.  If BP goes down then consider stopping tea after discussing with your Dr. and showing him your numbers
