Shouldn't: Yeast does not live in nerve cells and re-occur by "breaking out" in the same way as does the herpes virus.  Yeast is usually a re-growth or re-contraction of the fungus.  There are many reasons, antibiotic and diabetes being two prevalent ones.  There are good otc and prescription treatmens for yeast.  Perhaps you should be seen and discuss this.  The are some hard to treat yeast infections.

Yes: Low iron has been reported to be a cause of itchy skin and even hair loss.  If you have had a period for 4 months, it is a highly likely problem.  Hope you have been followed by your GYN doctor re. the period as well since it is by no means normal.  At the minimum, get a CBC to check for anemia. .

You need to be: on controlling medications for your herpes.  A thorough discussion with your primary care physician is needed as well as a prescription for medications.

No...: Herpes would be painful.  Anal itching is most commonly caused by either hemorrhoids or a fungal dermatitis. Get checked by your doctor.

Slow Down: Anus itching is not in any way a symptom of herpes.  First, congratulation on having a sexual encounter.  Second, what is the real problem here?  Getting a hand job does not in any way put your anus at risk for anything. Why would you even spend a second trying to connect the two?

Not herpes: Herpes doesn&#x27;t behave like this: unlikely to cause red bump that doesn&#x27;t become blister or sore and doesn&#x27;t cause itching &quot;all over&quot;. Neither does any other STD. Maybe a localized allergy or other dermatitis. See a doctor. If the &quot;red bump&quot; is present only now and then, talk to your doctor about arranging an immediate visit (without an advance appointment) next time it appears.

Can take time: Herpes lesion appear periodically with varying time intervals and various stimuli. Having herpes does not rule of shingles.

: By far most important is to be on treatment with one of the oral anti-herpes drugs (valacyclovir or acyclovir), with expected improvement within 2-3 days. Until then, a local anesthetic ointment (ideally lidocaine) will help. Also make sure the diagnosis is correct; you should be in a doctor's care. Good luck.

Details matter: Hsv 1 on face??? or genital? How do you know the source? Was it cultured? Treated? Now you have something else not related to hsv. A clue is "after the sex"........what kind of sex?
