probably not: Usually herpes will reactivate the initial site of infection and rarely travels around the body unless you have severe compromise of your immune system which i assume you don't since you didn't mention it.  Sounds like 2 different processes at work here.

a herpes infection is unlikely to last 2 months. we would have to look at other causes of this problem.
psoriasis, contact dermatitis from soaps, and lubricants used during sexual activity.  a rash on the scalp. for example, or the knees and elbows would make this more likely psoriasis. the causes of a rash in this area of the body are usually complex and require patience.

: Herpes lesions start as spots then become tiny painful ulcers and burst with clear fluid. What you describe seems more of hair follicles or sebacious glands of skin irritated/ inflammed. . Keep area clean and it should get better. Suggest trim instead of shave to avoid such problem. Good luck

Yes: Unfortunately, genital herpes is incurable. The virus lives in the nerve cells throughout the body. Any kind of physical trauma can cause the lesions to appear. There are various oral antiviral medications your dr can prescribe to reduce how frequently the lesions appear. These can be taken daily or just when you have an outbreak. Check with your dr in person. Make sure you always wear a condom.
