It depends: The natural history of lbp is to resolve, but depending on the underlying diagnosis, your pain can be alleviated.

Sciatica: Both can treat this. If you are sure its sciatica then you must have some imaging (MRI) done - then talk to your doctor as to what is the next step eg. Chiropractor. In some states chiropractors can also order imaging.

Dr. exam, then note: A doctor can write a note after doing an in-person exam. Generally, doctors do not write notes such as work-excuse or school-excuse notes, or back-to-work or back-to-school notes, without an exam. That is because a doctor's note is his written, signed, professional opinion, on whether a patient can or cannot do a particular activity. An in-person exam gives confidence to the doctor's opinion.

Good question!: A master's level nurse practitioner can prescribe medications [my wife does a great job!]. However, there is no formal psychopharmacologist certification that i'm aware of. The american academy of clinical psychopharmacology offers their own certification exam, but i believe this is limited to md's. Hope this helps.

Documentation: The lower back has variety of causes we need to establish the origin including performing some orthopedic test and imaging as xrays and MRI while try to lost some weight if that the case doing stretching back excersises in the morning drink water and uses your legs to squating down

Yes, they work : With necks, specifically manual manipulation of the neck and cervical spine. However, make sure you have a clear diagnosis and imaging before starting manual manipulation of the cervical spine.
