IBS: oral bc cause?: Oral bcp's are just a version of what your body goes through hormonally during a regular (non-pill) cycle.  IBS can be caused by stress of any kind, or by viral/bacterial gastroenteritis.  Bcp's are not involved in causing IBS, but taking them irregularly can activate endometriosis by causing estrogen levels to vary in strength. Implants in the colon are common and can lead to IBS symptoms.

Best would be to start with your primary care doc for an exam. Keep a log of your symptoms, type of food, weight changes. IBS is a diagnosis of exclusion and a variety of other conditions will have to be ruled out first.

IBS: Symptoms of  loose  stools ;  abdominal cramps in young adult male suggestive of irritable bowel syndrome. Intestinal cancer would be most unusual.  Personally, i would be interested in history of extreme sports participation ; chronic low back pain, which I have found concommitent with these symptoms in young adult males. The symptoms suggest that a primary medical doctor evaluation is in order.
