i suspect i have dry eyes but my vision appointment isnt until may 16th. what can i do in the meantime to treat it. can i use refresh eye drops even if im not sure if its dry eye yet. im experiencing blurry vision and watery eyes?

: Can you get advice from the ophthalmologist about what he/she recommends you do until your appointment?  I would suggest applying warm compresses to your eye lids if the are reddened or itchy and also using refresh eye drops according to instructions.

for a week now, i've had blurry vision in my left eye, and for a couple days now, there is a gray spot that i can't see past. should i see a doctor?

See eye doctor: Allergic eyes only  affect vision occasionally but dry eyes often do. Perhaps your vision is blurred because you need something more than just artificial tear but then I don't understand how you could have 20/20 vision if the vision were indeed blurred until this degree of visual acuity is only present intermittently.  Please clarify.

Several things: Retinal detachment rarely causes a red eye or pain.  There are a number of things that could cause your symptoms including an internal inflammation termed uveitis.  You should quickly make an appointment with an ophthalmologist as some of the possibilities are serious and vision threatening.

Pigmented lesion: You should see an oculoplastic surgeon for consideration of observation or biopsy of pigmented area.

No: The frickle is probably a choroidal nevus or mole & a second opinion is good.  Floaters are sign of vitreous detachment, a normal phenomenon, a little early for your age..  But if you vision is blurred and eye is painful must see your eye md asap to rule out retinal tears or detachment. Please also see your family dr for pain on swallowing, an endoscopy  will rule out any rare relationship.

Bruise?: This sounds like a subconjuctival hemorrhage, which is essentially a bruise on the whites of the eyes. This may cause some dryness and lead to fluctuating vision. The treatment is OTC artificial tears for symptomatic relief as the blood re-absorbs. You should see an eye MD to confirm diagnosis and treat accordingly.

i have a very tender spot on he top left side of head..it hurts to touch..been having migraines, blurry vision at times, and hair faliing out.

Go to ER: What you described is compatible with temporal arteritis and you should visit an emergency room at the earliest to protect your vision, just in case it is temporal arteritis.
