can drinking a lot of mango punch juice with mango puree in it cause your stool to turn orange? and can too much juice like that (with mango, pear, apple & pineapple jucies) mess with your bowels?

Yes: Drinking lots of high sugar juice can cause diarrhea and stomach discomfort as well as affecting the color of your stool. Standard recommendations limit juice intake (of any kind) to 6-8 oz per day. In the short term, to stabilize your intestines, discontinue the juice, eat whole fruit instead, and drink plain water instead.

i've been having a lot of gastro problems. i took pepto and my bs is dropping even after lowering my insulin, drinking apple juice and having saltines w/sugar jelly. it's like the pepto is coating the gut not allowing the sugar in??

: This is hard to answer. More details are needed. Gastrointestinal problems can cause poor absorption of food which can lower blood sugar.

can drinking 2 to 3 cartons of mango punch (with mango, pear, apple & pineapple juices & mango puree) over the span of a couple of days cause bloating, gas, pain & orange colored stool? if so, how long will the issues last once you stop drinking it?

Depends: It would depend on how big those cartons are.  3 30 ml cartons (1 fluid ounce) won't cause any problems but 3 1 liter cartons (33 fluid ounces) certainly could cause these problems.   Usually, things will get better several days after you stop the juice.

what would cause asprin taste in mouth that worsens later in the day and worsens when drinking apple juice and eating food?

Acid: Aspirin's chemical name is acetylsalicylic acid and, if you were to put one in your mouth, it would have a tart or acidic tang to it.  The stomach is highly acidic.  If stomach acid backs up into your esophagus and throat, you would sense the acidity.  This condition, gastro-esophageal reflux, could cause the symptoms you describe.

No: drinking water does not cause loose stools.  You may be starting a viral gastroenteritis.

Couple reasons : Increased fiber in a concentrated form and dried fruit often has sulfites.  Many people get diarrhea with sulfite ingestion.

Apple juice: It is OK every now and then without concern. If you want to drink it every day check your blood sugar about 2-3 hours later. If it is OK you can drink this regularly. If your blood sugar is high after apple juice have your doctor help you decide how much more diabetes medication you should take.

Yes: any clear liquid is fine prior to a colonoscopy or a sigmoidoscopy

i have excercise induced hypoglycemia. i train intense martial arts, and drink 100% apple juice to help. am i feeding a vicious cycle by doing so?

Hypoglycemia.: You might be right about that vicious cycle. You might be better served ingesting small meals containing complex carbohydrates and fiber every two hours or so. Remember, simple sugars in excess can trigger hypoglycemia. Complex carbohydrates would not cause insulin spikes and would give you sustained energy during your exercise.
