i am 31, and have been with my husband for 6 years. i have a skin tag/mole like thing on my vaginal area. it was fine, and couple days ago, i found that it had a couple of blood spots on the mole/tag. is it melanoma or cervical cancer? hoping not.

Vaginal lesion: The best action would be to see a gynecologist for an evaluation. it is hard to say without visualizing the lesion. However, one can have melanoma in that region. Or due to friction this could be partially lacerated skin tag/mole. Pap smear is used to screen for cervical cancer. Typically, the doctor would biopsy it and send to pathology if suspicious in appearance. Then one would have a diagnosis

None, until...: What makes both cervical cancer (common) and vaginal cancer (quite rare) so vicious is that they are asymptomatic until they're quite advanced.  This is one of the reasons for a routine health check here. Your physician knows how to do this. Good luck.

What : What is the diagnosis that was told to you by all the doctors you have seen? What medication was prescribed? 
Vaginal "secretion" or discharge is typically not a sign of cervical cancer. A pap smear detects cervical changes including cancer, so if you have not had one this year, i recommend you get one. 
Back to the discharge. Have you been tested for std's? Vaginal cultures done? Please reply with the answers to my questions and a description of the discharge and any associated symptoms (odor, irritation, itching).

Not an early sign: Sadly, by the time there is a discharge, cervical cancer may be somewhat advanced. That's why pap tests are recommended. But the discharges associated are: constant discharge that does not stop, and it may be pale, watery, pink, brown, bloody, or foul-smelling. See a doctor or obgyn for testing as soon as possible. No: Cervical cancer may have no discharge
bacterial vaginosis, trichomonas and gonorrhea can cause vaginal malodorous discharge.

: Rare but it may; spontaneous or postcoital vaginal bleeding is probably more common than foul odor vaginal discharge.

Yes: Best to have it checked by your gyn.  Bleeding after intercourse may be a sign of gyn cancer.

Talk to gyno: From what you described, you are at very low risk. If you get three normal PAP smears, talk to your gynecologist if continued testing is warranted.

Not related: Cervical cancer does not cause these symptoms. Hopefully you are getting your pap smear done for cancer prevention. It sounds like you have a vaginal lubrication problem. You may want to discuss the use of astroglide or another lubricant when you schedule your visit with an obgyn to discuss this problem in more detail.
