No need to change...: There is no need to change soaps when showering. A woman or girl can just use the same mild shower soap that she washes everywhere else with, and just gently rub the places between the big labia and her thighs, and between the big labia and her small inner labia, and around the clitoris. That should gently remove excess oils (sebum) and stuff. Of course, "over-cleaning" can lead to rashes.

Yes: All soaps that are scented and colored contain added chemicals to make them look/smell that way. These additives can cause irritation to skin. The vagina is a very thin sensitive area of skin and is more susceptible to irritation.

Yes: Soap in the vagina typically is going to burn or sting.  There is nothing to clean in the vagina as the vagina has mechanisms (discharge) for cleansing itself.  The outside of the vagina, the vulva, has sweat glands that produce a sebaceous (cheesy) material.  And these glands can produce odor and oil that you may want to cleanse.  The vulva can be washed with a non-irritating gentle soap.

First off  : The vagina itself should not be washed out. Second, the vulvar tissues are delicate  ; many soaps can be drying or cause inflammation/ irritation.
