i'm being treated for corneal ulcers. been feeling nauseated and run down. is this a normal symptom? only using antibiotic eye drops.

No: You should discuss this with your primary care doctor.  It is not likely related to the treatment of your corneal ulcers.

i have been suffering from gastritis for 4 years doctors can't seem to find the cause of the problem. i've been treated for both ulcers and helicobacter bacteria. the problem just doesn't go away. i'm afraid of the effect on the long run?

: Often people make their gastritis worse by their daily habits 
Avoid spicy foods, chocolate, mint, carbonated drinks, coffee. Stop smoking and drinking alcohol. Lose weight if you are overweight with a large abdomen. Don't eat for at least 3 hours before bedtime. You may need to avoid vitamins or/and dairy depending on the medications you are taking.  Ask about sleep apnea, celiac disease.

hi, i was wondering if you could assist me? when ever i eat like sweet things ( chocolate, cold drinks, insure) even if i haven't eat them in a while my stomach tends to run why. sometimes i thought my stomach was filthy. the other thing i had ulcer

See a doctor: It might require incision to improve drainage, an antibiotic prescription, or both. See a doctor.

is it safe to run/jog with a gastric ulcer or gastritis?

: Sure, one can jug/run if one had gastric ulcer or gastritis as long as there are no active complications like bleeding or vomiting.  One should have a PCP/Gastroenterologist  for management, avoid foods/drinks that worsen symptoms, especially Alcohol &amp; Smoking and limit stressors.. In general Exercise is Good for Health.

Not likely @ your ag: Not likely due to circulation @ your age. Do you have diabetes or is there a family history of diabetes? When there is an ulcer on the bottom of the foot, without pain, usually related to diabetes or pre diabetic condition. See your doctor asap.

is there another way for the dr to check on your hiatial hernia and stomach ulcer besides running a scope?

Yes: X-ray with barium swallow gives some information, and some functional appraisal  but does not show inner lining as well, and does not allow biopsy if issues seen.

i have extreme pain in my upper abdomen. middle and both sides. gets worse when running. doctor suspected a ulcer a while back. put me on topzole for two months. went away now month later the pain is back. tested for bacteria negative.

Abdominal discomfort: Running, especially if not breathing correctly by not using your diaphragm properly, can cause various abdominal symptoms including upper abdominal discomfort. It's called runners' stomach. If symptoms also occur without running, it's time to consult a gastroenterologist for a workup.

Oral surgeon: Could be a number of things. If present for more than a week, see oral surgeon. If less than week, treat symptomatically with saline rinse, OTC pain meds.
