i have a progesterone defiantly causing memory loss, anxiety, low blood pressure, and much more. any suggestions on how to raise my progesterone?

See your dr.: If you were diagnosed w/ Progesterone deficiency, you should see the dr. who diagnosed you so that he or she can do an evaluation to determine the cause including problems w/ your adrenal glands or ovaries. Low Progesterone usually occurs in postmenopausal women. It may cause anxiety or memory difficulties but causes high blood pressure not low. Your dr. can talk to u about different treatments.

on celexa (citalopram) 20mg for 6 days. perscribed for chest pain they said was related to anxiety. already have low blood pressure, getting lower, is this safe?

Not necessarily.: During acute anxiety attacks or panic attacks, your blood pressure increases due to increase autonomic activity but when you calm down they also come down. However, you really should get your anxiety taken cared of through medication and psychotherapy. There are other techniques that can calm you down such as mindful breathing and some yoga techniques that can be easily learned

i have anxiety. zoloft made me dizzy and gave me low blood pressure 90/65. would lexipro likely give me less side effects? any advice what to ask my doctor for?

Anxiety: I am not a fan of SSRI medications for anxiety. I would first try taking the supplement L-theanine 100-200 mg twice daily. If sleep is an issue, at 5-htp 150 mg at bedtime. Also, avoid sugar and highly processed food as they can feed anxiety in many people.

Healthy living: Healthy living causes low blood pressure.  Your average of 112/63 is perfectly fine.  I myself thankfully sometimes run around 99/70. Dangerous low blood pressure is below 75/50.  Usually what causes this low blood pressure is a bacterial infection in the blood.

Dubious idea: This is a "pop" diagnosis especially in parts of europe, and some physicians believe in it; it's used to explain a variety of symptoms (including folks i suspect are somatizing / just unhappy); it's not mainstream, and if somebody's symptomatic, i'd look for some other cause. The healthy heart keeps pressure just adequate to perfuse the body; "low" shouldn't be a problem.

Is it a problem?: A "normal" blood pressure varies from person to person. If you have no symptoms, then there's nothing to worry about.

If you are symptomatic, then we need to ask why the pressure is low and address that. Many different conditions/situations can lower blood pressure.
