Sinus congestion: Will not cause angle glaucoma.  In patients who have narrow anterior chamber angles (which would be diagnosed by an ophthalmologist), taking medications to treat a sinus infection could lead to an angle closure glaucoma attack.  If you have narrow angles, you should avoid decongestants and anti-histamines until you are told by your ophthalmologist that it's ok to use them.

The sinuses are : Located above and below the eyes and sinus headache is in the front of the face/forehead .A headache towards the top or back of the head is more associated with routine headache or tension headache.

1 option- Neti pots : Can reduce nasal congestion. Mix ¼ tsp salt w 1 cup lukewarm water. More salt can also be used. Place solution in neti pot.  Tilt head & pour solution into 1 nostril. Blow nose lightly & spit out any liquid that drains into throat. Repeat on other side. This can be done in the evening before you go to bed & again in the morning. You can watch a video online to get the finer details down.

Yes: If they didn't, then just about everyone would be walking around with dark circles!

No: Your tension headaches may actually be migraines with autonomic manifestations or have an allergic component. If it becomes really bothersome, you should see a doctor about it, preferably someone astute about headaches.

All fine with Depo: None of these should have any effect on your Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone).

Not common: It is not a common cause of tingling in the upper lip. Check for the beginning of a cold sore or other irritation. Facial swelling due to sinus infection can lead to nerve tingling if left untreated over a period of time.

Consider seeing: an ENT doctor.  He/she specializes in this combo of sinus pain and headache.  Your doc can make a referral.     There is a natural nasal spray called XLEAR that may be useful also.  Peace and good health.  Some folks prefer the use of a neti pot to cleanse nasal passages.

Family practice: Headache lasting that long should be evaluated. It could be sinus pressure , allergies , or infection from viruses and bacteria. But it could be sign of something even more serious.

Yes it can...: Fluid accumulated in your ears due to congestion can cause this type of symptoms. Usually with plenty of fluids and decongestants gets better in a matter of a few days.
