Many causes: There are many causes  of missed or late periods. Home pregnancy tests  are most accurate 3 weeks after intercourse or one week after a missed period. They are best done one  first morning urine. If you are not  pregnant then periods should get back to normal soon. If not  see  a  doctor for evaluation.

Take pregnancy test: know. Stop tylenol (acetaminophen) w Codeine until you know. Reasons for missed/late periods: low body weight, obesity, marked weight ^ or v, over-exercise, endurance athletics, breast-feeding, ^ stress, illness, eating disorders (bulimia or anorexia), anovulatory cycle (no egg released), travel, hormone irregularities, drug use, meds (i.e., birth control) or medical problems (i.e. PCOS). #1 reason is pregnancy.

Ouch!: The fluid from the ruptured cyst can be quite irritating to the peritoneum.  If a patient wasn't getting prompt relief with a pain medication such as Narco I would consider adding a potent anti-inflammatory and would even consider some acupuncture or Cold Laser Therapy.  Unfortunately,  these later modalities are still not commonly accessible.  Also, if not better soon, confirm diagnosis.

If bleeding : NSAIDs are to be avoided. In most studies ketorolac and indomethacin seem to have been used more. A short trial of tamsulosin may help if pain generated through uretheral spasm. It is critically important to run everything through treating urologist who has the best view on your condition.

: It can as excessive amounts are excreted by the kidney, otherwise metabolized by the liver mostly at lower doses, relatively rare, but well described.
