Yes: Though there are many causes of ed and many, if not most, pts with ed have a combination of physical and/or psychological factors as the basis for ed, there is no question that lumbar disc disease or lumbar spinal stenosis can not only cause or contribute to erection problems but can also affect normal bowel and bladder function as well depending on the location and severity of nerve involvement.

Narcotic therapy.: You would have to have lower nerve root issues to explain that. Problems at that level would not causes ed.  If you are on narcotic therapy, including tramadol, your testosterone levels would be seriously lowered. Most docs do not explain this to patients.

Thrombosed vein...?: What you described may suggest a thrombosed vein if there is no local indentation or harness. Does it hurt you at erection?

For the time being, just watch and see. But in doubt, see a urologist for better clarification.

See details: There is no such term as a rotating disc and anL5 issue will not cause erectile dysfunction. Ask about a cauda equina syndrome.

Torn back muscle: Torn muscles are rare, and usually require a significant trauma. Beyond that, torn muscle cannot cause discs to bulge by themselves. If there was a severe trauma, and the spine became unstable, discs could possibly bulge, but the torn muscle itself cannot be the cause alone... Although it certainly can hurt!

: No. Lower lumbar vertebral lesions would not affect kidney, liver nor cause cancer.
For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.

You can experience back or leg pain, numbness, tingling, weakness or other symptoms from a bulging disk.

Yes: Narcotics, like vicodin, in sufficient quantities can make it difficult to obtain and maintain an erection.  More often however, these medications cause an inability to ejaculate.  Both of these issues also happen with excessive alcohol consumption and someantidressant medications.
