Yes: Waxing burns are usually superficial and tend to fade with time.  If needed, you can use an over-the-counter or prescription fading cream that contains hydroquinone as its active ingredient.  Be sure to use sunscreen also, as sun makes dark marks darker.  If you are using a retinoid (prescription) or retinol, be sure to stop it at least 3 days before waxing or request hard wax to prevent burns.

7-10 days: it take 7-10 days until the redness is gone, and the irritation cool off, but that depend on how deep the burn is and what degree,frist second or third.assuming it is only first degree burn, no blister, then it take 7-10 days.apply topical antibiotic if you can.

SImple basic care: Burns are response of the tissues to injury from heat. It is simply inflammation which means increase blood flow to promote healing. Depth determines care.  Use of ice worsens already injured skin. Cool water soaks help as can taking anti-inflammation medicines like Motrin or advil (ibuprofen). Avoid any further damage as this can cause scarring . Good skin cream applied daily/gently helps, keep it covered.

Aloe Vera:  Consider breaking off leaves of Aloe Vera plant and placing the moist inner material over the skin that was burned.

Probably: folliculitis.  If it persists, you might benefit from antibiotics.  Show these to your gyn or dermatologist to be sure, but it does not sound real serious.

Ice: Wax burns generally are not too deep and represent the same reaction as a mild sunburn.  Peel off the wax and apply ice for 10 minutes or so and you should do fine with no blistering and a quick end to the pain.

Burn or allergic?: Wax allergy is unheard of but if you have a burn, only time will heal it although some have touted aloe or Arnica oil to be beneficial. The most important thing is to sure that you keep the area clean to prevent infection.  If the area burnt is extensive, a topical antibiotic cream may be considered.

Too long: This is taking wAy to long for a wax burn. Did you get ant treatment. ?  You better try silvadene (silver sulfadiazine) or antibiotic ointment. Or see your doctor

Time: I assume we are discussing a tempeture like a candle wax. Keep it covered and some antibacterial like neosporin should be fine.

: clean area gently with soap and water and apply cortisone ointment and protective cotton dressing. for a few days if not better then see your doc. Do not use the product again. Hope you feel better
