No: Ovarian cysts do not cause a vaginal odor.  Vaginal odor, especially if a woman is also having itching or irritation, is more likely to be from a vaginal infection, or can occur from prolonged spotting.

hi i had a ovarian cyst removed. about 2 weeks ago. they gave me a c section cut. yesterday i ve notice a small opening with stuff leaking and smell.

Incisional infection: If the incision is open with an odor, it is infected. Go see the physician who did the surgery asap. Call his/her office and tell them about the incision/etc.

Usually resolve: It is normal for a small cyst to develop on the ovaries from time to time. Ovarian cysts are quite common in women during their reproductive years and may be a single cyst or many cysts. Most cysts are benign and only require monitoring.They usually disappear within 6-8 weeks. An ovarian cyst should not be related to vaginal discharge. This should be evaluated and tested

Ovarian cyst: This will not likely change the odor of your urine, which is most commonly related to what you have eaten, how concentrated it has been, or rarely to infection with certain organisms.  Not likely to be due to an ovarian cyst.

Infection: Fibroids, endometriosis, and ovarian cysts should not cause a foul odor during menstration. It may be that you have bacterial vaginosis. A foul odor is the most frequent symptom of BV which is the most common vaginal infection. Hope this helps.

You : You could have a bacterial infection. While all periods have a somewhat foul odor, any major changes in odor should be assessed by a doctor, as an infection may be the reason. Per your medical history, it is crucial you have a a regular check up to see if the infection has anything to do with your preexisting fibroids or cysts. 
Old menstrual blood and uterine lining discharge also tend to have a more pungent odor when being expelled, as well. At times, some women do not eliminate all fluids during their previous period.
See a doctor to investigate. Also not if this is accompanied by any abdominal or pelvic cramping.

Smelly stuff: I would see your gyno.  It sounds like you have a lost tampon.  This can cause serious infection.  It must be removed and vaginal tissues cleansed with peroxidez.

See GI doctor: and get stools tested. You may need a colonoscopy depending on stool tests. IBS is a diagnosis of exclusion - that means there should be no inflammation in your bowels causing your pain and change in stools. Hope this helps.

Not directly: A cyst will not affect sense of smell at all directly; cysts that are hormonally active (that make hormones) may affect perception of smell.

Infection: Urinary tract infection (uti). Especially if you have burning with peeing and urgency or difficulty holding pee.
