i am 65 years old male. 2 days back i had burning pain while urinating. urine tests are ok but radiology report says chronic cystitis with altered shape of bladder.i have pain only at outer part of penis. is it normal or worrisome diagnosis at my age?

Not normal : While disease is not Normal’, your cystitis is not ,uncommon. There are treatments which may include antibiotics and other meds to decrease or eliminate the discomfort you feel in your genitals. See a urologist, and get treatment.

Bladder Infection: The best thing would be to get Urine examined for UA (Urine Analysis) and Culture, before you start any antibiotic. Even if the urinalysis is negative, and you felt better with treatment, you would be OK. If the urine culture shows bacteria, the doctor can modufy treatmetn as needed.

43 male: 2 months of frequent urge to urinate and burning sensation on tip of penis after urinating. urine test negative. no blood in urine. could this be bladder cancer? doctor mentioned prostatitis. have been taking bactrium for 3 weeks no change?

: Bladder cancer causes blood in urine and is painless when it starts. So it is not that. You need a good exam by a Urologist for diagnosis. Good luck

Inflammation?: Urethral inflammation is a possibility. If this is more than a brief occurence -please let your doctor know.

: Definitely recommend seeing Dr about this (a urology specialist is best) to evaluate what could be causing this unusual symptom. It sounds like there could be some kind of obstruction- stone, scar tissue, etc. Dr would likely consider xray with dye or cystoscopy.

Not at your age: All penises stop growing at end of puberty. Short size of penis is major problem associated with bladder exstrophy. Some lengthening can sometimes be achieved by surgically releasing dorsal (upward) curvature. Men with exstrophy can be fertile but inevitably require assistance from a urologic fertility expert. Get checked: the sensation may be really incomplete emptying of the bladder or may be a sensation from the bladder which could be from irritation such as an infection in the prostate, or the urethra. Check for penile discharge or cloudy urine. Increase your fluid intake and get checked if it doesn't resolve in a couple of days.

Protrusion: Could be a hernia. See if you can gently push it back in when its out.

No: It is normal for males to have erections when the are asleep.  Assuming you are not taking any prescription medications.  One medication, trazodone, has frequently been associated with erections that will not go away (called priapism) (can happen with other drugs too). This is a urologic emergency and can result in permanent damage.
  If this just happens when your asleep, it's normal.

if my sperm is entering my bladder instead of leaving my penis correctly should i be worried? what other problems if any can this cause?

Infertility : This is called retrograde ejaculation, you should be evaluated by a urologist.  You may have difficulty getting simeon pregnant and may need the help of a fertility specialist.
