Do you have an hour?: There are so many ways to treat depending on severity and other individual medical factors that there is no way to fully describe them here.  However, generally, treat with pain or itch control medicines like ibuprofen, tylenol, (acetaminophen) benadryl, and Hydrocortisone creams and watch for signs of infection progressing.

Use EpiPEN, (epinephrine) go to ER: You may have no problem with this, but if you have an allergy or you think you do, my advice is to get to an er asap.  They will give you Epinephrine so you don't go into anaphylactic shock, which can close your airway and kill you.  After this episode is over, you might want to see your doctor and get an epipen, (epinephrine) which is a shot of Epinephrine you can give yourself quick if this happens again.

Probable stye: Swelling of eyelid with or without discomfort is most likely to be a stye (chalazion).  Best first treatment is plenty of hot compresses as often as possible.

i have 4 insect bites that have caused my ankle to swell, sting, are oozing. i've taken benedryl and applied cortaid (hydrocortisone) w no change. what should i do?

Likely superficial : infection from scratching. If persists, see a dermatologist.... wear socks at night so you
don't scratch while asleep.

hi im high allergic to insect bites and was advised if a beestings me id go into anaphylactic shock immediately. 
ive been stung by something & the welt has swollen to the size of my hand. any thoughts on what it could be ?

Not really: The only way to know for sure what bit you was to have you see &amp; identify it at the time. The reaction you describe is an arthus reaction, a common body protective response where the capillaries begin to leak to create a protective barrier of fluid to reduce the entry of toxins into the body. The reaction is not specific to a particular bug.

hi, i have a pain just below my right rib cage. when i drive on a gravel road it gets worse. it became a consistent dull pain after horse riding yesterday and is sore to the touch. it almost feels like spleen sting just on the right. ?

Musculoskeletal : Most likely the chest wall or rib cage pain is musculoskeletal. Local heat and Ibuprofen may help to relieve your symptoms.

Don't know what: Insect bit you but a bed bug  can leave telltale sign of a  linear track of lesions from sequential feedings – doesn't always occur.

Accepted Answer

Yes: Certain insects, when they sting or bite, actually inject an anticoagulant material into the area so the blood flows to them more easily. This can lead to leaving a bruise in the area after the bite/sting. Best thing is cold compress or even ice pack initially, then after a few days switch to warm packs to help bruise resolve.
