i have a lump under left armpit, dr thinks it's only a cyst i go for test tomorrow, it's painful could this be cancer some say cancer doesn't hurt?

Wait for answer: If you are seeing your doctor tomorrow, you should just wait to see what will be found instead of worrying over potentially bad results.  Some cancer can indeed hurt -depending on the site involved.

lump near my elbow. an mri and ultrasound showed as normal.  doc said it was not cyst/cancer but didn't rec surgery unless it hurt or grew. what is it?

CYSTS ARE NOT CANCER: If MRI and ultrasound are normal and doctor said it is not cyst/cancer than you do not have to worry, it is not cancer
cysts are lumps filled with gelatinous substances and can be left alone and cause no problem, but these lumps can be surgically removed .Any general surgeon can do it
but if it is not even cyst than you leave it alone and follow your docs advice.

a couple of days ago i discover an pea size lump on my right breast located on the right side the color of the lump is slightly darker then my skin color it hurts sometimes is it breast cancer? or is it a cyst no family history of breast cancer

Breast cyst ?'s: A small area on one breast with some pain may come from trauma or simply be a sebaceous cyst. See your physician for an exam. Breast cancer risk at age 19 is virtually zero.

h/o fibrocystic breasts 38 y/o- have a small lump that hurts! pain improved immensely when i got my period.lump is still there.mild pain still. is this most likely another cystic change? no family h/o breast cancer,no bc pills. chance of cancer low?

: At age "38", if not on oral birth control, the stimulation of increased estrogen production due to increased stimulation of your ovaries secondary to aging residual eggs results in more fibrocystic breast disease, with higher breast sensitivity.  See your GYN physician for an exam, and guidance. Oral bcp's will diminish breast changes by estrogen suppression of ovaries.

Lumps in throat: While it's likely a benign process like a tonsillar cyst or infection, this type of complaint deserves a close look by an experienced provider.  The symptoms suggest infection, so a throat culture is also in order with an exam and followup to evaluate resolution of the lump.

Pathology & location: Testicular cancer occurs when germ cells inside the testis become malignant and grow to form a mass. Epididymal cysts, are outside the testis in the epididymis, and are benign fluid filled bumps. It can sometimes be difficult to tell by self exam, so an exam by an physician is important. Based on this exam, a scrotal ultrasound may be ordered, which will help make the diagnosis.
